ENGR SAMPSON UDEH FELICITATES NUJ @ 70… ADVOCATES ENHANCED WELFARE, CAPACITY BUILDING FOR JOURNALISTS

Chief Engr Sampson Udeh, President General, Imo State Leadership In Diaspora Forum Worldwide, has congratulated the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on its 70th anniversary, praising the union’s leadership for their dedication to promoting journalistic excellence, defending press freedom, and upholding the highest standards of journalism in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message, Chief Engr Udeh commended the National President of the NUJ, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, the Zonal Secretary and Acting Vice President, Zone C (South East), Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku, and the Imo State Council Chairman, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, JP, for their tireless efforts in promoting the welfare and interests of journalists in Nigeria.
He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional development for journalists, particularly in the digital age.

Chief Engr Udeh also advocated for improved welfare and capacity-building opportunities for journalists to enable them to effectively discharge their duties.
Chief. Engr. Sampson Udeh congratulates the NUJ on this milestone anniversary and commend its leadership for their tireless efforts in promoting journalistic excellence. He urged journalists to continue striving for excellence and promoting ethical standards.
The NUJ’s 70th anniversary is a testament to the union’s commitment to democratic principles and its role in shaping Nigeria’s media landscape.
He acknowledged the significant contributions of journalists to the development of Nigeria, particularly in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.
As the NUJ celebrates this remarkable achievement, Chief Engr Sampson Udeh encouraged the union to continue promoting the highest standards of journalism, defending press freedom, and advocating for the welfare of journalists.
Once again, Chief Engr Udeh congratulates the NUJ on its 70th anniversary and wish the union continued success in its endeavors.
