Non Ibo Traders Express Happiness Over Uzodimma’s Return to Office

Imo-based traders of Nigerien Republic  and Northern Nigeria extraction have expressed happiness over the re-election of the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for a second term in office, describing it as a boost to the prevailing peaceful atmosphere in the state.
The National Vice President (Southeast) of High Council of Nigeriens  Abroad and Coordinator, Hausa Traders, Imo State, Hon Ibrahim Abdulkadir Dan Gali who spoke to news men in Owerri, observed with satisfaction that people of the state acted wisely by giving the governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma the go-ahead to pilot the affairs of the state for another four years.
According to Hon Dan Gali, Governor Uzodimm is a good and capable administrator whose greatest concern is the overall well-being of all people residing in the state.
Hon Dan Gali who is  also, the representative of Imo-based Hausa and Nigerien traders in Imo State Almalgamated Markets and Traders Association ( ISAMATA) pointed out that despite series of attacks on Imo state by some bad eggs in the society, Hope Uzodimma was able to hold the state and ensued peaceful and harmonious co-existence among  people of different ethnic groups in the state.
He stressed that the state would have collapsed and become a permanent base for criminal elements if Governor Uzodimma  did not handle the insecurity situation with wisdom.
Hon Ibrahim Abdulkadir Dan Gali who is also, the chairman, Nigerien Citizens in Imo State gave kudos to Governor Uzodimma for fighting relentlessly and courageously to reduce the problem of insecurity to the barest minimum.
He commended Nigerien and Hausa traders in Imo state for displaying good conduct in their day-to-day activities and supporting all efforts by the Hope Uzodimma administration to make the state a peaceful place for all law-abiding citizens.
According to Dan Gali, Nigerien and Hausa traders in the state supported and voted massively for Governor Hope Uzodimma in the November 11, 2023 governorship election. ‘ We even contributed money, bought a Siena Car and donated to Hope Uzodimma Campaign Organisation out of joy and conviction that Uzodimma will win. We are happy that we are part of the governor’s victory.
” I , the co-ordinator of Nigerien and Hausa traders in Imo state and representative of the  group in ISAMATA as well as some  other leaders of Nigerien and Hausa traders sensitised our people and ensured that they obtained their voters cards which enabled them to vote for the right candidate, Senator Hope Uzodimma in the last governorship election. And we are glad that the candidate we voted for won the election’,   Dan Gali stated.
 The co-ordinator of Nigerien and Hausa traders reassured Governor Uzodimma and the state government of unalloyed support in the scheme of things.
