There is no doubt that womanhood deserves celebration in our society for the motherly role God has placed on them from creation. I see this day as more than just a celebration, it’s a chance to honour the women who have shattered barriers, defied stereotypes, and paved the way for others. These women are not just succeeding in their fields; they are reaching back to uplift others, ensuring that progress is both personal and collective.”
“I celebrate most especially with the good and great women of Owerri West LGA in particular, Imo and Nigeria at large as *”Accelerate Action”* is a call to move forward in order to achieve gender equality which should not just focus on celebration but on action that brings real change to issues that continue to hinder women’s progress in society. I will do more than I have done in the past to develop, empower and uplift my people, our women in all endeavours of life”, he further stated.
“I will _accelerate action_ more than ever in achieving significant progress towards gender equality, while also emphasizing the need for continued efforts to achieve a society where women have equal access to education, economic opportunities, and healthcare”, he said.
