Addressing journalists at Rockview Hotels Owerri on Tuesday, 15th of November, the President General of the apex Okigwe Zone diaspora group, Dr Ukachi Chibuike maintained that Chief Chikwem Onuoha is the best choice among all, pointing out that he will be a bold voice in the Green chamber if elected.
According to the Cape Town based medical Doctor, ” we have been following the records of all the contestants in Okigwe North Federal seat and without sounding immodest, Chief Chikwem Onuoha is the most qualified, he has all it takes to provide the much needed proactive and people oriented representation if elected. He will not be a push over or a missing- in -action Rep member like others.”
“We wish to State it clearly that before this our formal endorsement, we got in touch with our family members at home and we discovered that Chief Chikwem Onuoha is the the most acceptable candidate across party line and the only grassroots outstanding candidate irrespective of party platform.”
Ukachi further stressed that Okigwe North Federal Constituency deserves the best representation now the country is passing through a lot of democratic reformations, adding that Okigwe Mandate Union South Africa will partner with other well meaning Indigenes of Okigwe Zone to ensure that we send our best to the National Assembly come 2023.
” The era of political Party sentiment is gone, we are also in touch with Okigwe Mandate Union, United Kingdom and other parts of Europe and we are working on the same page for the collective interest of Okigwe Zone.”
He however noted that, ” Okigwe Mandate Union based its assessment and endorsement on individual records of all the candidates not political Party because political Parties will play little or no role in 2023 general elections.”
