Harrison Nwadike And INEC  CONFIRMED SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTIONS IN NJABA

 HON HARRISON NWADIKE PERSONIFIES A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR NJABA PEOPLE THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED
AFTER 24 YEARS OF EXCLUSION AND ISOLATION IN THE POLITICS AND REPRESENTATION OF NKWERRE/ISU/NWANGELE/NJABA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, NOW, NJABA ELECTORATES HAVE THEMSELVES TO DELIVER OR REMAIN SIDELINED AND MARGINALIZED
*THE BALL IS IN NJABA’S COURT TO SCORE THEMSELVES INTO RELEVANCE OR SCORE AN OWN GOAL AGAINST THEMSELVES:*
In Igbo idiomatic parlance, it is said that there is an extent to which a pregnant woman under labour would push her unborn child  before she begins to pray that her husband’s land comes to her aid. This proverb is self explanatory considering the travails of Njaba in the politics of Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal Constituency.
Njaba and Isu LGAs are two stocks of the NINN Federal Constituency from the same mother. Growing up, I used to hear about Isu-Njaba as a clan name. The Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal Constituency has come a long way since 1999. This is 24 long years since after the advent of democratic rule. There is nothing wrong in doing a wholistic appraisal of what has been the NINN Politics of Representation vis-a-vis the four constituting LGAs in the Federal Constituency. Join me in this literary journey of facts and figures and on your own, think about the Equity Clamour of the people of Njaba and Isu LGAs.
The very first slot for the  Federal Representative of NINN in 1999 went to Nwangele’s Hon Nze C. C. Osuala (4 years). Nkwerre LGA followed  in 2003 and had her slot via Hon Chidi Nwogu (4years). After Hon Chidi Nwogu, in the year 2007, the next Federal Representative was provided by Nwangele LGA via Hon Mrs Juliet Akano (4years). At the end of Hon Juliet Akano’s 4-yr tenure, in 2011, instead of either Isu or Njaba LGAs who had each not had a slot, the next Federal Representative of Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal Constituency  went, again, to Nkwerre LGA in the person of Hon Jones Onyeriri (8 years). His  dual tenures ended in 2019.
In what appeared to be an exclusive cycle or right of only the twosome of Nkwerre and Nwangele LGAs, the next slot went again, against EQUITY in 2019 to Nwangele LGA in the person of the incumbent, Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo (OZB), who by this May 2023 would have finished a full tenure of four (4) years.
All these 24 years (Please, kindly compute it),  no Isu or Njaba son or daughter has had a chance at being elected a Federal Representative for NINN Federal Constituency.
There lies the moral impetus for the Equity agitation by the excluded Njaba and Isu LGAs. The EQUITY agitation is a crave for inclusivity, fairness and justice. This must be understood by all Njaba electorates! If this is understood by Njabans, there will be no lost ballot from Njaba in the coming supplementary election for NINN Representative.
One dramatic show of political maturity has made it possible for all the House of Representatives aspirants from Isu LGA to step down for an Njaba aspirant in the person of Ikemba Hon Barr Harrison Nwadike. The mutual understanding with credible politicians of Isu, Nkwerre and Nwangele extractions in APC is to give Njaba LGA a sense of belonging first and then followed by Isu LGA. This is in the spirit of fairness, justice and equity
To exhibit the detastible insatiability for political office by lording it over other equally legitimate stocks of the NINN Federal Constituency, *Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo* from Nwangele LGA that has had 12 years of the 24 years of the democratic experience from 1999, is pushing with all muscles, against the tide of equity, as personified by *Ikeoha Hon Barr Harrison Nwadike*. This is after having a 4-yr tenure ending May 29, 2023!
Enough is enough! 24 years are enough!! Equity must stand!!!
OZB has had to rig the election for his second tenure in his LGA garnering more than 50% of his total vote tally through an electoral heist.
By sheer stroke of divine providence, the election on 25/2/23 in Njaba LGA remains outstanding and the NINN Federal Representative Election is therefore inconclusive.
Currently,  OZB leads the chart with about 10,000 votes he wrote for himself in connivance with the Electoral Officers at Nwangele, Nkwerre and Isu. The Electoral Officer in Njaba was caught pants down in her foiled attempt to sabotage Njaba LGA, confessing to the Police that she hadn’t the Election Result Sheet. Hence Njaba LGA Election was completely cancelled by Imo State REC.
INEC has scheduled to do a supplementary election in only Njaba LGA after the gubernatorial and House of Assembly Elections on 11th March, 2023. This provides an opportunity for Njaba LGA to settle their EQUITY clamour.
As God would have it, the number of PVCs collected in NJABA LGA alone is about 57,000!
Therefore, the supplementary election will tell if Njaba shall either take this God-given opportunity by voting enmasse for Hon Barr Harrison Nwadike. Doing so will obliterate the 10,000 votes lead being the dubious written result via over-voting which OZB secured in his own Nwangele LGA. If Njabans fail to take this chance, they shall remain isolated, excluded and marginalized in NINN Politics. The rest of the of other 3 LGAs of  NINN Federal Constituency are watching to see what NJABA LGA does in the present situation.
The fate of Njaba LGA hangs on the balance. The balance is on their on
 hands.
Ikeoha Hon Barr Harrison Nwadike, as a lawyer, is best qualified to Represent NINN as a lawmaker.
We wait to see the outcome.
