DeNorsemen Kclub International, Imo State Patrol on 27th of May, 2026 marked World Children’s Day celebration in a grand Style.
The event which was a directive from the National Executive Council of Kclub, was observed by all the Patrols in Nigeria and beyond.
Inline with the directive, the Imo State Executive Council and members visited St Joseph’s Orphanage Home Okwu,  in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State where Clothes and other food items were presented to the management of the Orphanage Home.
In his speech during the formal presentation of the gift items, the Governor of Imo State Patrol, Chief Ndubueze Okonkwo pointed out that DNKI creed is Service to humanity, adding that the Kclub will continue to support humanity to ensure there is a better society for all.
Chief  Okonkwo who commended the management of the Motherless Home for their efforts to protect children without Complete parents in the society, however stressed that DNKI will continue to support the Orphanage towards achieving a better and secured future for the inmates.
According to him, “Today, we are celebrating children all over the world and DNKI Imo State Patrol is here to share with your Orphanage the little we have.”
” The kind of job you people are doing here is very sensitive and tasking. It is not easy to take care of children of other people and we must commend you for such selfless job and sacrifices, the society owe you alot.”
While addressing the inmates who were mostly tender in age, Chief Okonkwo reassured them that DNKI will support their educational growth by partnering directly with Orphanage, noting that his administration will create a standing Committee to that effect.
He said, “to every Nigerian Child , you are a gift of hope and a spark of endless possibilities . Every Child is a unique star lighting up our world, keep dreaming big  because you are the future leaders and the change makers of our great Nation.”
Chief Ndubueze Okonkwo further used the opportunity to express deep appreciation to the International President of DNKI, Amb. Dr. Aniekanabasi Paulinus Alban for his  financial support to Imo State Patrol during 2026 Workers Day celebration, stressing that Imo State Patrol will not be found wanting in all the Kclub International activities, programes and projects.
The highlight of the visit was a special Prayer session for the Leadership and members of DNKI by the inmates and  group photographs
