Owerri North Grassroots Forum Empowers Market women  …to embark on Bus Stop construction

A sociopolitical and grassroots oriented group in Owerri Federal Constituency under the aegis of Owerri North Grassroots Forum has empowered over fifty market women in the Local Government Area.
The Forum  able led by Hon Martin Chinedu Ebom (MACO) started the year 2025 with thanksgiving and cash empowerment to some market women across Owerri North.
In his speech while addressing the beneficiaries recently, the President and leader of group, Hon MACO pointed out that Owerri North Grassroots Forum will continue to support and empower Youths and women in Owerri North Local Government Area, adding that their vision and mission is centered on Grassroots development and peace.
Hon MACO used the opportunity to expressed profound gratitude to the members of Forum for their commitment and dedication, however charged the women to use the cash donated to them judicially, noting that the empowerment scheme of the Forum will be annually.
He further use the opportunity to announce that the Forum under his leadership will embark on construction of Bus Stop and other social facilities within Owerri North Local Government Area inline with their vision and mission.
In her vote of thanks, One of the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to the leadership and members for taking the pains to support them at this harsh economy situation and prayed to God to protect and empower Owerri North Grassroots Forum.
