Jubilation In Amaigbo Community As ATU Renovates and Commission Three Health Centres

Wild Jubilation took over the Entire Amaigbo Ancient Community in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo state on 8th January, 2023 as Amaigbo Town Union ably led by Sir Fyne Madumere commissioned Three renovated and equipped Health Centres in the Community.
The Commissioning ceremony of the multimillion Naira projects embarked and completed by Amaigbo Town Union in collaboration ATU in Diaspora  have the Hon. Commissioner For Health in Imo State, Dr Prosper Ohayagha Success, Hon Commissioner For Budget, Economic Planing and statistics, Dr C. C. Osuala, the SOLAD of Nwangele LGA, Prince Charles Mbachu, Dr King Nwoha, Mr Nmezi Kingsley, Adaigbo Franca Osuji, Chief Ken Nwagbara, Mrs Mercy Azubuike, Chief Okey Oluigbo and other renowned Amaigbo dignitaries in  attendance.
The three renovated Health Centres located in Amaju Amaigbo, Umuotakwe Amaigbo and Umukabia Amaigbo were commissioned by Dr Prosper Ohayagha Success, Rt Hon Amaechi Nwoha and Dr C.C. Osuala respectively.
 The commissioning ceremony started with Amaju Health Centre.
In his welcome speech, the National Chairman of Amaju Development Union, Chief Franklin Osuji, flanked by Hon Melody Mbamara, Hon George Ogbuogu, Hon Ebere Ohaegbulem, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, Mr Cosmas Dike, Ichie Charles Onwudiwe and others,  thanked the leadership of Amaigbo Town Union led by Sir Fyne Madumere for having the interest of the People at heart, adding that Amaju people will remain grateful for the show of love and Care by Amaigbo Town Union.
Chief Osuji who used the opportunity to reassured the protection of all projects sited in Amaju Amaigbo, however appealed  to Amaigbo Town Union to support the Health Centre with a borehole for quick water supply to the health facility, noting that Amaju Development Union will partner with Amaigbo Town Union towards the realization of New Amaigbo Agenda.
The President General of Amaigbo Town Union, Sir Fyne Madumere in his short remarks at the occasion, expressed happiness over the ongoing massive development in Amaigbo and commended Amaigbo Town Union Advisory Board for their invaluable dedication and zeal for development of Amaigbo Community.
Sir Madumere pointed out that, ” This is a collective projects and we are passionate about the Health Centres in Amaigbo. I sincerely appeal to our beloved Son, Dr Prosper  Ohayagha Success to help us and equip Amaju Health Centre and make it functional.”
The Works Committee Chairman and Diaspora Coordinator of Amaigbo Town Union, Dr King Nwoha in his speech, commended Chief Ken Nwagbara for attracting the Health Centre to Amaju Amaigbo, pointing out that it is the beginning of more projects from  Amaigbo Town Union to Amaju.
Dr Nwoha noted that the money for all the projects were levies from Amaigbo sons and daughters both at home and in Diaspora and charged Amaju people to protect the health centre from vandals.
 Speaking also, Adaigbo Franca Osuji said that Amaigbo Daughters USA are happy about the completion of Health Centre projects, adding that Amaigbo Daughters USA will continue to support developmental projects in Amaigbo Community.
The President of ATU USA, Mr Nmezi Kingsley in his short remarks on behalf of ATU USA promised to ensure there is borehole at Amaju Health Centre and urged the leadership of  Amaju Development Union to ensure that the Health Centre and its equipment are safe.
The Sole Administrator of Nwangele Local Government Area, Prince Charles Mbachu, in his speech commended the present Leadership of Amaigbo Town Union, noting that he is very pleased with the positive projects Sir Fyne Madumere and his team are doing in Amaigbo Community and Announced the donation of five celling fan units to Amaju Health Centre.
The Commissioner for Health in Imo State, Dr Prosper Ohayagha Success  in his speech while Commissioning Amaju Health Centre,  argued that Health is wealth, stressing that Amaigbo Town Union took a good step by the renovation of Health Centres in the Community.
Dr Ohayagha used the opportunity to expressed profound gratitude to ATU USA for what they are doing in Amaigbo Community, adding that their participation to drive home dividends of democracy is highly recommendable .
He promised to do a detailed report on all the health Centres in Amaigbo Community, noting that Amaigbo Community has done very well in health sector in Imo State.
The August visitors were entertained by Women Cultural dance and Owu masquerade display by the host village before the team moved to Umuotakwe Health  Centre.
At Umuotakwe Amaigbo Health Centre, ATU Team was received by men, women and Youths led by Mr Ositadinma Osondu, Chairman of Umuotakwe Amaigbo Village.
In his welcome address, Mr Ositadinma Osondu thanked Amaigbo Town Union for coming to their Rescue by renovating their only  Health Centre and promised they will protect the facility from vandals.
The President General of Amaigbo Town Union, Women wing, Mrs Mercy Azubuike in her speech described the Health Centre projects embarked and completed by Amaigbo Town Union as a welcome development, adding that Amaigbo women will continue to appreciate their sons and daughters at home and in Diaspora for thinking home.
She called on the women of Umuotakwe Amaigbo to ensure they utilize the Health Centre, adding that the health Centre projects favour women mostly.
In his short remarks, Dr King Nwoha Expressed deep gratitude to Umuotakwe Amaigbo people for their wonderful cooperation and urged them to ensure the dreams behind the building of the Health Centre is realized.
He charged them to take the health centre as their own and protect it.
The Commissioner for Health in Imo State, Dr Prosper Ohayagha Success in his own remarks, thanked everyone who participated in the  building of the multimillion Naira Health Centre projects and urged them to own it, guide it jealously because it is their own.
According to him, ” we will work hand in glove to see that Imo State Government plays its own role in the equipment of the Health Centres. But before then, make sure you protect the health centre, make sure the facility is not vandalized by your people.”
The Sole Administrator of Nwangele Local Government Area, Prince Charles Mbachu while Commissioning Umuotakwe Amaigbo Health Centre on behalf of Rt Hon Amaechi Nwoha thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for giving Amaigbo Community a sense of belonging in his Government.
Prince Mbachu used the opportunity to announce the donation of five celling fan units to the Health Centre, however called on Amaigbo Indigenes to support the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma in the State, pointing out that he means well for the people of Amaigbo Ancient Kingdom.
At Umukabia Amaigbo Health Centre, the ATU Team was received by Umukabia Progressive Union led by Mr Ugochukwu Olewunne.
Mr Olewunne in his welcome speech, reassured Amaigbo Town Union that the renovated Umukabia Health Centre will be adequately protected and utilized and appeal for supports for Umukabia Amaigbo village from ATU.
Adaigbo Franca Osuji and Mrs Mercy Azubuike in their respective remarks, thanked everybody who contributed towards the realization of the Health Centres, noting that more is yet to come as Amaigbo Community must move forward.
They called on all Amaigbo Sons and daughters to support and embrace the New Amaigbo Agenda and expressed joy over the prevalent peace, unity and brotherly love existing in Amaigbo Town Union.
They further charged the Women of Umukabia Amaigbo to help in maintaining and keeping the Health Centre clean, adding that they should count themselves lucky and make efforts to utilize it properly.
The President of ATU USA, Mr Nmezi Kingsley in his short remarks reminded the people of Umukabia Amaigbo on the need to protect the Newly renovated health centre and however commended Dr King Nwoha, ATU works Committee Chairman for doing a great job on the Health Centres.
Dr Nwoha in his own remarks, pointed out that Amaigbo sons and daughters contributed money to embark on projects because of the love, desire and Care they have for Amaigbo, stressing that Health care is very essential to human existence and begged Umukabia people to make Amaigbo Town Union proud by ensuring the Health Centre is functional after Its Commissioning.
The Sole Administrator of Nwangele LGA, Prince Charles Mbachu while Announcing the donation of twenty celling fan units to Umukabia Amaigbo Health Centre, urged all Amaigbo Indigenes to support Governor Hope Uzodimma Government because of his love for Amaigbo people and further reminded them that Amaigbo Community has benefited immensely from his administration.
Dr Prosper Ohayagha Success  in his speech noted that Health Centre can save lives and added that Umukabia Health Centre is qualified for Basic Health Insurance Fund considering that it is a federal Primary Health Clinic.
He commended Amaigbo sons and daughters for doing noble by helping Imo State Government to rebuild Health Centres in Amaigbo Community.
The Imo State Commissioner for Budget ,Economic Planing & statistics  Dr C.C Osuala in his speech while Commissioning Umukabia Health Centre said the Health facility was  attracted by him when he represented Nkwerre Isu Nwangele Njaba Federal Constituency and commended Sir Fyne Madumere for his Progressive leadership which has attracted more progress, development and empowerment to Amaigbo people.
Dr Osuala who was accompanied by his wife, Dr Tina Osuala while Commissioning the Health Centre, thanked all Amaigbo Sons and daughters who contributed towards the Development of Amaigbo Community, noting that the New Amaigbo Agenda is a noble vision .
He further charged the people of Umukabia Amaigbo to ensure adequate security for the Health facility to avoid it being vandalized for the second time, stressing that the health centre if properly protected will be a place of saving lives.
The guests were entertained by the women dancers and refreshments.
