ISDLF  Proposes Appointment of Members as Investment Ambassadors

The leadership of Imo State Diaspora Leadership Forum ( ISDLF) has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma led Administration in the State for its efforts in returning peace and maximum security in the  Imo State.
The group in a Communique issued  issued at the end of a 2-day mini- summit of Imo State Leadership in Diaspora World Wide held on 6th & 7th January 2024 at Rockview hotel Owerri, adopted a document which they will submit to Imo State Government on how to further improve security in the State.
The Apex Imo State Diaspora Leadership further proposed to Governor Hope Uzodimma to appoint its members across the Global as Investment Ambassadors, arguing that it will help to attract and encourage both Imolites living abroad and foreign investors to invest in our dear State.
According to the Communique signed by Engr. Chief Sampson Udeh,
President General, Imo State Diaspora Leadership Forum, Hon. Don Odunze,
and Chief Louis I. Ononiwu, Chairman and Secretary respectively of 2023 Mini -Summit Organizing Committee, the body also resolved that: ” To expand the body to accommodate more leaders of Imo State citizens living in different countries of the world.”
 “Extolled the efforts of the Government to return peace and security to Imo State. The body also adopted a document which is yet to be submitted to the state government on how to further improve security in the state.”
” to Foster a closer partnership with the State government in critical development ventures – security, sanitary, agriculture, and other economic growth drives that would enhance job creation.”
“Propose to the State Government to appoint the members of this body (Imo State Leadership in Diaspora Worldwide) in various countries of the world as *Investment Ambassadors* aimed to attract and encourage both Imolites living abroad and foreign investors to invest in our dear State.”
“Adoption of a more elaborate and brainstorming  2024 Diaspora Summit/Conference in Owerri. The conference will anticipate the presence of notable Imo State personalities.”
“The summit received warm greetings from His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma from the Honourable Commissioner for Homeland Security and Vigilante Affairs, Dr Ugorji O. Ugorji, who in turn promised to convey the resolutions taken to the Governor.”
