Naze  Cluster Market Cattle Dealers have debunked the alleged #10m bribe leveled against the Chairman of the Market, Hon. Uchenna Anaege ( Oil Money) by IK Ezenwa and others, describing it as lie from the pit of hell.

The Chairman of Naze Cluster Market Cattle Dealers Association, Mr Nwachukwu Ekene, flanked by his Executive members, while speaking to Journalists at the Market on Thursday, 21st March, 2024,  pointed out that the allegation by Ik Ezenwa is nothing but total falsehood, adding that Naze Cluster Market Cattle Dealers never give the market Chairman a kobo.

He maintained that Hon Uchenna Anaege only encouraged cattle dealers to establish Abattoir in Cluster Market so that the market will grow faster like others.

According to him,” It is a lie from the pit of hell, it is a mere unfunded allegation and total falsehood. Cluster Market Cattle Dealers never gave the market Chairman a kobo.”

He said, ” He never demanded for any money from us, we have consulted our Lawyer and in a short time, we will seek redress from IK Ezenwa and co travellers.”

Nwachukwu who announced the vote of Confidence passed on Hon Uchenna Anaege and his Executives by Cluster Market Cattle Dealers, however noted that, ” we have no problem or misunderstanding in Cluster Market and till today, the Market Chairman has always supported our business growth and we are very happy with his administration.”

He said, ” The said IK Ezenwa is not known to us and no cattle dealer in Cluster Market is part of the falsehood Ik Ezenwa and co are spreading. We are very surprised to see our name in the publication when we never said such, we are not happy over that falsehood.”

Nwachukwu used the opportunity to appeal to commend Governor Hope Uzodimma on his massive infrastructural achievements in Imo State, adding that he is gradually transforming Imo State into a model modern State.

According to him, ” we are appealing to our beloved Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma to help us and rebuild Naze Cluster Market so that it can measure up effectively with other International Markets in South East because Naze Cluster Market has international market potentials.”

He further appealed to Governor Uzodimma to create a road that link Cluster Market with Alaba Market, stressing that it will boost economic activities between the two International Markets in Imo State.

Speaking also,  a stakeholder in the Market, Mr Eze Peter Ikechukwu called on all the traders in Cluster Market to support Hon Uchenna Anaege in his efforts to sanitize and improve the Market potentials, adding that since he took over as Chairman of the Market, there is massive improvement in the Market.
