High Court Dissolves Eight Years Marriage In Imo State

The Marriage between Uzorma Harmony Ijeoma and Uzoma Overcomer Kelechi has been dissolved by Court .

The eight years marriage which was entered at 6th Day of December, 2016 at the Registry of Owerri Municipal Council was voided by an Etiti High Court following a petition by Uzoma Harmony Ijeoma.

This is the Judgment of the High Court of justice sitting at Mbano/Etiti Division in Imo State of Nigeria on the 9th day of August, 2019.

The judgment is upon a petition of the Petitioner through her counsel and after the evidence adduced before the Honourable Court and the Respondent filed no answer to the petition the court ordered for:

1. Decree Nisi of the marriage between the parties which was entered into on the 6th day of December, 2016 at the Marriage Registry Owerri Municipal Council, Owerri Local Government Area of Imo State.

2. The Custody of the 5 children of the marriage awarded to the Petitioner.

3. And the Decree Nisi to be made absolute after three (3) months.

AND on the 11th day of January, 2020 the Decree Absolute was also made in respect of the marriage between the Petitioner and Respondent on 5th day of August, 2019 at the marriage Registry Owerri, Imo State.
