Federal Lawmaker Decries Quackery In Ebonyi Health System

 The member representing Ebonyi/ Ohaukwu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Eze Nwachukwu, has said there is quackery in Ebonyi Health System and decried the spate at which the fraud is growing in different communities and villages.

 The lawmaker disclosed this to journalists in Ohaukwu, shortly after   flag off of a Widow Free Health Care Enrollment Programme, held at Grace Garden and Event Centre.

 He said he witnessed the agony of those who fell victims of the activities of these fraudsters in the various communities and villages and called for a check, saying he had to support Her Excellency’s programme, which he described as one major step to rescue the women, especially those in the rural areas, from those medical quacks, in the state.

According to him, the agony the people faced was so touching that he decided to support Her Excellency’s programme, to further  help the people, stating he has donated the sum of fifteen million naira (#15M), already earmarked by the House for the programme.
