Easter : Pray For Peaceful Transition, DNKI Tells Nigerians

By Anyi Lemchi
DeNorsemen Kclub International (DNKI) has called on  Nigerians to pray for peaceful democratic Transition for the collective well being of Nigerians.
The International President of DNKI, Engr Chidi Anokwu who made the call in his  Easter Message through the Directorate of Information and Communication, dated 7th of April,2023,  pointed out that Nigerians should pray for unity and peaceful co existence of all Nigerians, noting that anything that affects the peaceful democratic Transition in Nigeria will worsen the current insecurity condition in the Country.
He said, ” There is need to pray for the unity of our beloved Country at this critical period. Nigerians have suffered much and anything that will increase their sufferings should be discouraged. DNKI will support and pray for peaceful democratic transition. We must focus on  peaceful democratic Transition.”
Engr Anokwu however urged Nigeria Judiciary to use this year’s Easter period to reflect on the present tensed security and economic conditions in Nigeria, adding that there is need for them to reassure Nigerian Masses that they are their  last hope.
He noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ  brought victory, Love and peace to Christians and reminded Nigerians to use Easter period to extend the peace and love to their neighbors irrespective of religion, Tribe or Colour.
According to him, ” As  Christians celebrate this year’s Easter Festival, it calls for deep prayers and reflections on the way forward of our beloved Country after general elections. 2023 General Elections have come and gone but Nigeria and her citizens must move forward. There is need to encourage, support and extend peace, unity and love to one another. Nigeria is the giant of Africa and our strength lies in our diversity and we must protect that our diversity. Nigeria Judiciary should be able to restore the confidence Nigerians have on them by ensuring justice and fairness.”
Engr Chidi Anokwu further used the opportunity to charge members of DNKI all over the World to reach out to the poor and the  needy in the society during this year’s Easter celebration, arguing that the society can be more peaceful and conducive if we share joy and sorrow together.
