Celebrating Uncommon Passion for Service:   Eze Guru Crowned Felicitates with ACPS Shaba, Ola

In any given job, career, or profession, every other attributes could keep
one going but the only trait which guarantees excellence and
outstanding performance, is no doubt, the uncommon passion for the
job. And when you see or meet a man who is truly passionate about his job, everything about him convinces you because he would do his thing differently or rather professionally; he lives each day thinking of his job
and faces the challenges that comes with his job with great excitement
at all times. Infact, he becomes inseparable from his job.
Unfortunately, such distinguished personalities are scarce in today’s
public service where the quest for materialism and instant gratification
have succeeded in hijacking the entire system.
However, the Nigerian Police Force is very lucky to be blessed with one
of such rare personalities who is currently serving in Imo State Command. The first, is ACP Shaba Adamu who is the chief principal
security officer to the governor of Imo State. Once you talk about the superb security architecture of Imo Government house, the only name you can hear that rings bell is ACP Shaba.
Of course, there is also another celebrated officer who is now in charge
of operations of police in the state with the ‘’Tiger Base’’ Anti kidnapping
unit in the state CID inclusive. His name is ACP Odeyinwa Oladineji.
Infact, this duo remain officers whose approach to the work is legendary. They are always fare and firm.
I therefore make bold to say that considering his consistent character
laced with uncommon passion for service, nobody would be surprised to
hear of their recent outstanding elevation to the rank of ACP in the
Nigerian Police Force. It is indeed well deserved and I, Eze Guru Crowned Prince of Mbaise Obizie Land sincerely felicitates with them. They are highly commended for the sincere dedication and commitment they have shown in their duties. The good and peace loving people of Imo State under the umbrella of Imo Charter of Equity Initiative in association with the Imo State Governing Advisory Committee continue
to pray for God’s divine protection for them and their gallant teams for a
nice they are doing in the state. I, Eze Guru Crowned Prince of Mbaise
Obizie Land – the progenitor of Imo Charter of Equity Initiative product
of His Excellency, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor
of Imo State, once again appreciate your commitment and dedication to peacekeeping in our beloved state of origin-Imo.
While we also use this medium to encourage every other patriotic and
dedicated security officer irrespective of where you are serving especially
the recently recruited community vigilante personnel by the Governor
Hope Uzodinma administration who just passed out from their intensive training at the Police Training College, Nekede, Owerri West LGA (15 officers from each autonomous community in Imo State), to continue to
be committed to your duties because dedication remains the key and it pays, we urge the general public to support the effort of the government and its security agencies for better outcome in securing our society.
Today, I also celebrate the ‘Tiger Base’ Squad of State C.I.D, Nigerian Police Force, Imo Command under the full monitoring of ACP Odeyiwa Oladineji for their swift response to security issues in the state. And at
this point, what readily comes to mind is their recent intervention in the
ENTRACO – market women impasse in Relief Market Owerri.
By all indications, if not for the intervention made by the ‘Tiger Base’ Squad in a joint operation, that issue was capable of throwing the state capital and of course, the entire state into an unimaginable crisis. They
made some arrest of suspected criminals and from there, unraveled the
clear scenario which slightly changed the narrative about ENTRACO as a government agency.
We support giving a human face to the activities of ENTRACO and other related government agencies which we believe the immediate and indefinite suspension of all filled operation of the ENTRACO and any related
task force until further notice by the Executive Governor, would address.
But we also do not rule out the possibility of criminal elements hired by enemies of peace in the state to operate under such cover or instigate crisis by manipulating and misrepresenting the government agencies just
to sabotage the good intentions of the people-oriented administration of
His Excellency, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodinma in Imo State.
However, from that investigation, one can notice that a good number of the suspects are non-indigenes of Imo State. As Eze Guru Crowned Prince
of Mbaise Nation from Obizi Land, I appeal to the revered traditional
rulers and institutions in Imo and particularly in the three Local Government Areas of Mbaise to intensify support and collaboration with security agencies especially the Imo Command Nigeria Police Force of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in order to subdue every act of insecurity being witnessed in the state. I am of the opinion that non- indigenes in the state who chose to be tools for insecurity and criminality should be flushed out once confirmed.
Imo Charter of Equity Initiative in association with the State Governing
Advisory Board, continues to thank the people’s Governor, His Excellency,
Dist. Senator Hope Uzodinma for his continuous support to the security agencies operating in the state to fight insecurity and we give him special kudos for the well-thought-out idea of recruiting and training fifteen (15) able bodied young men and women from every recognized autonomous community in Imo State. Apart from the employment and empowerment, this would have brought to our youths, the dynamic governor of Imo State has through it demonstrated yet another practical approach to curbing insecurity and criminality in the entire state.
