A CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR PRINCESS COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES MGBIRICHI 2024-2025 INDIGENT STUDENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (PCON-ISSP)
Princess College of Nursing Sciences Mgbirichi Imo State, under the leadership of the Founder/CEO, Dr. Princess Ngozi Duru is delighted to invite eligible post-secondary school candidates who are of Imo State Origin to apply for Princess College of Nursing Sciences Indigent
Students’ Scholarship Program to be awarded to qualified candidates, in memory of Noble Sir Sebastian G. Duru KSJI (Omenka).
This program is part of PCON’s Corporate Social Responsibility
aimed at providing access to quality nursing education to Imo state indigenes. This full Scholarship covers tuition fees, student hostel fees, feeding fees, upkeep allowance, and other
ancillary fees. It is open to all candidates who are intelligent but indigent. This full scholarship is being offered for one year in the first instance and renewable every year throughout the duration of the nursing training program.
Eligibility Criteria: a) Candidates for PCON-ISSP must be indigent and show evidence of indigency
(e.g. history of withdrawal from studies for lack of resources to pay school fees in the past).
b) Must posses Senior Secondary School certificate from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE with a minimum of five subjects at credit level including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and
Biology. c) Personal and Parental circumstances such as serious ill health, disabilities, unemployment, family challenges will be considered.
d) Candidates who are currently involved in Community Voluntary Services despite their Indigency will have an added advantage. e) Students who are currently enjoying scholarship from the State or other sources are not
eligible to apply.

NB: Application to this scholarship program is free of charge.
Deadline: Application must be received on or before June 18, 2024. Qualifying examination and interview will hold on Saturday June 22, 2024.
