PATIENCE NNADI BAGS NNEOMA NWERE UGWU AWARD

The Matriarch of the Nnadi family of Umuekweachieze Umuodu,Umuokpo  Autonomous Community, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Mrs Patience Nnadi has been honoured with  the prestigious Award of Nneoma Nwere Ugwu of Christ Anglican Church Emeabiam Mother’s Union and Women’s Guild.
The event was on the occasion of the March 10, 2024 Mothering Sunday Celebration held at  the Christ Anglican Church Emeabiam, Diocese of Egbu.
It attracted well meaning people of the Church, their families, friends and well wishers.
 In her message on the occasion, the wife of the Vicar of Christ Anglican Church Emeabiam, Mrs Chika Ibe Adikwuru charged the women to be submissive to their husbands, love themselves and live in peace with one another to build a happy home.
Speaking on the occasion,  the Vicar of the Church, Rev Canon Ibe Adikwuru who presented the award of Nneoma Nwere Ugwu to Mrs Patience Nnadi said the award was given to her in recognition of her positive contributions to the work of God and Society at large and encouraged her to keep it up.
In her message of appreciation,   Nneoma Patience Nnadi expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for keeping her alive to receive the award and thanked the Church for the honour.
In the same vein,  she expressed joy the way her children and their friends graced the occasion without her knowledge, adding that their presence and support gave her the Joy of her life and prayed God to continue to be with them and their families.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion were The Traditional Ruler of Umuokpo Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Engr. Eunan Eke, Hon Prince Osuji, Mr Innocent Ekweariri, Chief/Alhaji Munachimso Precious Nwosu(Udu Akomiri of Umuokpo), Hon Engr Bruno Ukoha former House Member Representing Ezinihitte Mbaise, Chief Larry Chikwe( Ezembaise) former T C Chairman, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA and immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Door to Door,Arch Magnus Chilaka(Ohiahuruagu) Treasurer Imo. State APC,Chief Chuks Chilaka(Dikejiejemba Mbaise) immediate past Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor of Imo State, Hon Luke Odoemena, Elder Matthew Nnadi, Mr Kingsley Nnadi, Agulanna Nnadi and a host of other guests.
