COMMUNITY BLAMES UNKNOWN GUNMEN OVER MISSING OF ALLEGED IPOB MEMBER AND HIS WIFE,  BURIES LATE FATHER OF ASOEGWU LINUS CHINEDU

The incessant killings, burning of houses, shops and other unwarranted destruction of households and public properties have led to more harms and damages in Nigeria particularly in the south East Geo-political Zone of Nigeria with drastic fall in the population of youths in the Zone.
Going through the memory lane of series of killing and massacres that have occurred in the Zone and other Zones of the federation of Nigeria. For instance, killing of youths from Otulu community were on a marriage trip to Awo-Omamma and a bungalow belonging to their host Mr. John Okeafor’s (Now Late) house was also set ablaze. the incident which claimed over 22 lives of youths took place on Sunday the 17th day of July 2021, beheading of human beings here and there, the killing of an old man Asoegwu Nworonken whose burial has just taken place and burning of the old man’s family house at Ozara in Oru- west Local Government Council Area with the missing of the old man’s only son Mr. Asoegwu Linus Chinedu and wife. Who were alleged to be members of indigenous people of Biafra. (IPOB) since the past seven months precisely in the year 2021.
Killing of many law enforcement security Agency Personnel’s which also happened recently in different parts of Nigeria coupled with mass kidnapping of motor transport passengers and media practitioners, burning of markets, burning  of  churches and mosques, the recent massacre by suspected herdsmen in a community in plateau state  on the Christmas eve being 24th December, 2023. kidnapping of all kinds and assassination of top government officials, high ranking politicians and the increasing rate in which traditional rulers abandon their communities and ran for their dear lives just to mention but a few.
This kidnapping of a thing has become a different thing to the extent that developers and farmers are now too prone to killing and kidnapping.
The question is now for how long shall Nigeria perfect her security architecture and guaranteed security section 36 of the 1999 constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Everyone is truly in need of answer that can cure the problem of insecurity in Nigeria. It should be recalled that section 36 of Nigeria constitution guaranteed right to life as the first benefits for every Nigeria citizen.
Just few days ago, precisely Wednesday 13th February 2024, night and Thursday 14th February morning unknown Gunmen Stormed into a Mosque during prayers in Yangoje village of Kankara Local Government Area in Katsina State attacked, killed and stripped women naked and abducted many women to unknown destination.
With these incidents in history and presently. Now the question is where are we heading to when they is no hope and freedom in livelihood there is every need for collective protection of lives and properties of the citizens.
