Support Uzodimma’s Govt, Onyeukwu Tells Imo Women

The Honourable  Chairman of Imo State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Mrs Julie Onyeukwu has charged Imo women to unite and support the present administration of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Onyeukwu gave the charge recently when Umuada Ekwema Arugo led by their President General, Hon Mrs Angela Akuoma paid her a solidarity visit at her office .
Onyeukwu stated that the State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma is  committed to better the lots of Imo youths by employing them in various government establishment in the state, adding that they are ( youths) special gift with great potentials and leaders of tomorrow.
She maintained that Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration believes in gender mainstreaming and equality of opportunities for men and women,  she added that the Governor also believes in merit and equally believes that every man  and woman must be given opportunity to practice that which God endowed on him or her.
The civil service commission Boss further called for commitment and dedication among them, and appealed to them to always pray for the present administration led by Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma to succeed.
While urging them to work in unity for improved services and lasting legacy, Dr. Onyeukwu, however, emphasized on the need for Umuada Ekwema Arugo to create lasting footprints for others to emulate by promoting team work and cordial relationship in the discharge of their duties as mothers.

Onyeukwu used the opportunity to call on parents and guardians to give proper attention and training that will help discover and harness God given talents in their children so as to achieve their goals in life. While describing her appointment as a divine project, she prayed  that God will sustain the Governor to keep on marching every effort with impact.
Earlier in her remarks, the president General of Umuada Ekwema Arugo, Hon. Mrs Angela Akuoma thanked the State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for appointing their beloved sister as the Chairman Civil Service Commission and for appointing some of their Owerri Nchi Ise sons and daughters, like All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman of Imo State Hon. Macdonald Ebere and the rest of them and pledged their unalloyed support to his administration.
However, the women used the avenue to shower praises on Governor Hope Uzodimma for the re-construction of Owerri /Orlu road and Owerri /Okigwe road and other roads in the pipeline for construction, just as Dr. Onyeukwu mentioned earlier. The Umuada Ekwema Arugo prayed to God to strengthen him and Grant him more wisdom to do more well.
In a vote of thanks, the Commissioner representing Owerri Zone in Civil Service Commission, Mr Victor Onyeagoro thanked the Umuada Ekwema Arugo for their visit and appealed to them to always remember the State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and their sister Hon.Dr. Julie Onyeukwu whom he described as a mother and a Super Woman capable of handling the affairs of the Commission in their prayers for them to succeed.
Those present at the courtesy visit include the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs E.A. Ogudoro and the Director of Administration and Finance of the Commission, Mrs J.A. Ogoamaka.
