IMPACT SERIES Holds Leadership Business Conference in Owerri, harps on commitment

A platform that helps young people to aspire to lead, succeed in business and career, IMPACT SERIES, had organized a program tagged: Impact Series Leadership In Business Conference held at the Immaculate Golden Royal Hotel, Ikenegbu, Owerri, on Saturday.
The Conference, which started with prayer led by Rev. Dr. G.O.C Ohiagu the District Secretary of Owerri East District of Assemblies of God Church, saw over 300 young people who are very determined to achieve their career goals, in attendance, with inspirational speakers advising them to identify their passion, pursue it diligently with vigour and godliness to be able to achieve success and hence live satisfactorily and comfortably.
In her remarks, the Co-founder of IMPACT SERIES, Mrs. Ezinne Ezeigbo, disclosed that since 2019, IMPACT SERIES have had unending seasons of metamorphosis, saying the Conference is geared to expand people’s capacity for business, career and professional leadership development.
Just as the Convener and Visionary of the program, Surv. Emeka Ezeigbo, explained that IMPACT SERIES is a mentorship platform which provides for young people who aspire to lead in different fields.
Ezeigbo pointed out that the IMPACT SERIES has existed for seven years,  growing higher more especially in mentoring and impacting leadership skills in young people whom he advised to believe solidly in God as they pursue their career.
“The program happens every single year. People from different places come to acquire new knowledge. He said he uses the Conference to celebrate his birthday, bringing motivational speakers to inspire and impact them with their inspiring stories. It is a platform that shapes lives for positive impact. “God is the Sponsor, and any vision because every vision from God sponsors itself”, he reflected.
Harping on commitment, one of the Speakers, Prof. Chukwunoso Ejike, stated that, for people to  achieve success in their career, they really need to identify their God given purpose and then pursue the career growth gradually, deliberately and in simple steps.
Prof. Ejike advised people not to allow their environment or material things to distract them from actualizing their career goals. “See upstacles as necessary tools to climb to success. Pursue the passion that can put food on the table, shelter you and cloth you. You also need skill: soft and hard skills will help you get good paying job or be self employed”.
While stressing on tools such as Planning, Finding Help, Innovation, Building Network and Managing Profit, which are essential for growing a successful business, the Executive Chef and Creative Director, Patty’s Delight, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Patience Etop James, encouraged budding career persons to keep faith and pursue their business interests with passion to succeed.
The Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Abia State, Engr. Ike Monday and the Lead Pastor, Truelight Glory House Ministries Int’l, Pastor Ifeanyi Uwakwe, hinted on competence, experience, hard-work, alliance, humility, truth, integrity, trust and positive character as the ingredients for success. They added that these are germane assets for fruitful and sustainable business and career.
With Dr. Samuel Maduka Onyeishi, Chairman, Peace Mass Transit Ltd, affirming that quality education helps to grow business and build career. “The foundation of successful business is good education”.
Highlight of the event was the cutting of birthday cake of the Convener, Surv. Emeka Lamby Ezeigbo, who thanked God for the growth and success of IMPACT SERIES.
